Look for disconfirming facts

Words that deserve a second look
TVL measures deposits in a protocol, but it does not automatically measure usage or safety. Yield is a return estimate, not a guarantee. Decentralized can describe a spectrum of control, not a binary badge. And community is not the same thing as governance.
Make curiosity a habit.
Keep a short log of what you believed, what changed your mind, and what you still cannot explain. That is signal literacy in practice.
